In short

  • MyRhythm uses only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in, stay secure and remember your preferences.
  • We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or third-party marketing pixels.
  • Minor accounts never receive profiling or behavioural-targeting storage of any kind.
  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; some sign-in features may stop working.
01

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information a website or app saves on your device. They help a service remember who you are between page loads β€” for example, keeping you signed in, or remembering that you prefer dark mode.

They are not programs and they cannot run on their own. They simply hold information the platform can read back on your next visit.

02

How we use them

MyRhythm uses strictly necessary and preference storage only. In practice that means:

  • Sign-in session β€” keeps you logged in securely as you move around the platform.
  • Security β€” protects against abuse such as session hijacking and automated attacks.
  • Preferences β€” remembers choices you make, such as theme, playback settings and dismissed notices.
  • Drafts and workspace state β€” saves in-progress uploads or forms so you don't lose work if a page reloads.
  • Consent records β€” remembers which optional permissions you have given or declined, including the version of a document you agreed to.
03

What we do not use

MyRhythm does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, social media pixels or third-party marketing trackers.

We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share browsing behaviour with data brokers or ad networks.

Minor accounts never receive profiling or behavioural-targeting storage. Any future feature that would require new categories of storage undergoes privacy and child-impact review first, and will be reflected in an updated version of this policy.

04

Third parties

Some strictly necessary functions are provided by infrastructure suppliers β€” for example secure sign-in, hosting and content delivery. Where those suppliers set storage on our behalf, they do so only to deliver the MyRhythm service and only under our instructions.

We do not permit suppliers to use MyRhythm storage for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

05

Your choices

You can view, delete or block cookies and local storage through your browser or device settings at any time. Most browsers let you block cookies from specific sites or delete them when you close the browser.

Because our sign-in session relies on necessary storage, blocking it entirely means you will not be able to stay signed in β€” you can still browse public pages of the website.

If you have privacy questions or want confirmation of what is stored for your account, contact info@myrhythm.io.

06

Children's information

In line with the Child Safety & Safeguarding Policy and the Privacy Policy, storage on Minor accounts is limited to what is strictly necessary to run the service safely.

We do not use storage on Minor accounts for behavioural advertising, profiling or any purpose beyond operating and securing the platform.

07

Changes to this policy

If our use of cookies or local storage changes materially, we will update this document, change its version and effective dates, and show the current version on the website. Where consent is required for a new use, we will ask for it before the storage is set.
